I was struck by the beauty of seeing so many men who had given their lives fully to Jesus as a priests and seminarians at the procession into Sunday mass at the Stubenville Youth Conference. About a year later, my girlfriend and I decided to pray a weekly holy hour together...and God did not waste that time. After feeling a slight nudge to look again at the seminary, I asked about an application and was mistakenly told that applications were already closed for the year. The panic that immediately followed at the thought of not being able to enter made it clear that I deeply desired to discern the priesthood. Since then, pursuing this calling has brought me a peace beyond all understanding rooted in the love and mercy of God.
