My vocation was greatly influenced by the people I knew during high school. My Chaplain Fr. Ruzicka, showed me a fire for Jesus I had never seen before. He had amazing homilies which helped me realize how much God loved me, which led to me being more confident in my own vocation as well as discernment. One of my close friends during the time, Joseph Halfmann, always pushed me to grow in charity. He would often drag me to prayer groups and always invited me to pray in the chapel. He unknowingly taught me how to pray and grow in my own personal relationship with Jesus by showing me what living a true relationship with Christ looked like. These and many more people influenced my own vocation by showing me how great living a life loved by God looked like.
