The reason I entered seminary was to grow in a deeper friendship with the Lord and because I came to recognize Christ's presence in my own suffering. It was after a very difficult period in my life that I encountered Christ through friends, my youth minister, and my pastor, all of whom taught me that Christ suffers alongside us and that I am a beloved son of an ever-loving and caring Father who will never abandon me. It is this profound love that draws me to give my life totally to Him.
