Provide an insight into your Vocation story - what and who led you to Seminary?Growing up, I was always inspired by the amazing lives and stories of Bible characters and the saints, who dedicated themselves to God in a complete sacrifice of self. I was always fascinated not only by their common sanctity but also by the variety of their vocations—anywhere from monks and mothers to popes and prophets. When I was 11 years old, I sincerely asked God in my heart what exactly he wanted me to do or what sort of sacrificial life of love he wanted me to live. The answer was a firm and constant call to the priesthood. I knew in my heart that God was calling me to give myself wholly to Him and His Church by the gift of priesthood. Throughout middle school and high school, I experienced an ever deeper attraction to the priesthood by the example of holy and joyful priests and a greater knowledge of the beautiful nature of the priesthood.
