From middle school, I was inspired very much by the courage and joy of priests that I knew, and wanted to be like them. I started taking this more seriously in high school after having a profound encounter with Jesus in Eucharistic adoration. After that, I was drawn to the priesthood through experiences of the beauty of the Mass via altar serving. Ultimately, even through a lot of fear, the Lord showed me that my deepest desire was to follow Him into the seminary, and He gave the me the grace to say yes.
